🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE SAVAGE TEAM 🚨

Due to some unforeseen emergencies behind the scenes, unfortunately we have made the decision to cancel all Savage Norwich classes until next week.

We are truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and we really appreciate everyone’s understanding, patience and continued support during this time ❤️

All classes will resume as normal from Monday 22nd June and we cannot wait to see everyone back on the mats, fresh faced, full of energy and ready to go! 🥋🔥

We’re thinking about putting together a Savage Summer Camp during the school holidays and wanted to see what interest there would be! 🥋🔥

The plan would be 1–3 days packed with martial arts, games, challenges, team activities, confidence building, and lots of fun!

🕘 9am – 2pm 👦
➡️Open to members and non-members
🥋 Fun, fitness, friends and martial arts

This morning we received confirmation that Mr Jamie has been nominated and selected as a FINALIST for the 2026 Small UK Business Awards – Best Fitness Coach! 🥊🔥

We honestly don’t know who nominated us or made this happen, but from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU. Your support and belief in what we do means more than words can ever express.

Since launching Savage Martial Arts in Norwich, we have been incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by amazing students, parents, supporters, mentors, friends, and local communities who have guided us, encouraged us, and stood beside us every step of the way.

Mr Jake and Mr Jamie were hard at work today during a teacher training session, sharpening their coaching skills, sharing ideas, and making sure our students continue to get the very best experience on the mats.

🥋 What Makes a Black Belt? 🥋

People often think a Black Belt is the student who is the most talented, strongest, fastest, or naturally gifted.

The truth is… it’s usually the one who didn’t quit.

Every Black Belt has had days when they didn’t feel like training. They’ve had difficult classes, moments of frustration, setbacks, and times when progress felt slow. But they kept showing up.

These days, it’s easier than ever for children to jump from one activity to another. A friend leaves, so they leave. Another club looks more exciting, so they move on. The moment something gets challenging, they jump ship and start something new.

But where does that lead?

If a child never learns to stick at something when it becomes difficult, they never experience the reward of seeing what they’re truly capable of achieving. They never get to the finish line. They never discover the pride that comes from earning something through hard work and commitment.

Success isn’t built by constantly starting over. It’s built by staying the course.

Martial arts isn’t just about learning to kick and punch. It’s about learning discipline, resilience, commitment, and the understanding that worthwhile achievements take time.

As parents, one of the greatest gifts we can give our children is teaching them that not every uncomfortable feeling means it’s time to quit. Sometimes it’s time to dig a little deeper, work a little harder, and keep moving forward.

A Black Belt is not someone who was never challenged.

A Black Belt is someone who faced challenges and kept going anyway.

Because at the end of the day, a Black Belt is simply a White Belt who refused to quit. 🖤🥋

We have been absolutely blown away by the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm shown by all of our students recently!

✅ Successful gradings with students earning their next belts
✅ Fantastic days at local fetes meeting new faces in our community
✅ Busy promo stands spreading the Savage Martial Arts spirit
✅ The exciting opening of our brand-new Drayton venue
✅ Lots of training, learning and confidence-building along the way!
