Here is a cutting from 'The Northern Whig' (Irish newspaper) from September 5th 1951 showing the 'Welsh League' team outside their Belfast Hotel just before going to play the 'Irish League'. Cliffie Birch is seated, second right and is also seen in the second photo touching the cannon. Cliffie represented the 'Welsh League' twice that year.
