SWAFFHAM Rugby Club’s sevens tournament was once more blessed with perfect weather at the weekend as 12 teams from Norfolk and Cambridgeshire battled it out for the Playmore Cup and prizes worth more than £500.

PETER MASON, WATCH, LEARN, MIMIC...

Bath scored five tries as they thumped Northampton Saints 46-14 with a bonus point win in the LV= Cup, setting them up nicely for a home semi final. One of the tries of the game was this outstanding effort from prop Anthony Perenise.

Gents - 9th of April. The annual training session & Fakenham Races lash up
Meet at Narford 11am.

Standard - touch rugby for a 2 of hours. Rolling games with 4 teams would be ideal so if you have any mates who want to join feel free to bring them along. By 1.30pm we should have reached a "competitive international standard" so at that time we will leave for Fakenham Races in time for the first race which is at 2.00pm. The aim will be to pile into as few a cars as possible, we can get atleast 8 in the jeep.If you are non-norfolk just come the night before etc. I will update closer to the time but in the mean time just secure it in the diary.
