Norwich Water Ski & Wakeboard Club Norwich Water Ski Club For over fifty years Norwich Water Ski Club has been a centre of excellence for water skiing in East Anglia and an enjoyable place to be.

Our club is situated just outside Norwich between Costessey and Taverham, and is only a few miles from the centre of Norwich. Our club is based on a private fresh water lake surrounded by trees in an idyllic location. We have a fully equipped club house with showers and toilets, a wakeboard kicker, full sized international slalom course and a fibreglass topped full size ski jump. We are a small members’ club with around 40 members of all ages, backgrounds and abilities but we are open to non-members who wish to try our sport.. We pride ourselves in having excellent qualified instructors and boat drivers with a range of equipment and a tournament ski boats. Currently we run a Malibu Response with Zero Off GPS timing (Please note that private craft cannot be used on our lake). Our members range from complete beginners to top tournament competition skiers and wake boarders. If you want to learn to water ski with a qualified instructor, develop your skills a bit more or just want to come along and have some fun, we would love to see you. Although most skiing time is dedicated to members skiing we do have a limited number of days where we hire out the lake and equipment for corporate or private events. When a private hire is booked you would have exclusive access to the whole club and amenities, including the club house and grounds, tournament boat, a qualified boat driver and a qualified instructor and all equipment. We offer a whole day between the hours of 10am and 4pm or an evening session between 5pm and dusk. Normally we would aim for a maximum number of 15 skiers for a full day booking which would allow for approximately 2 skis each. Evening sessions, depending on the time of year, can cater for up to 10 skiers allowing for one ski each

Norwich Water Ski Club can be accessed either via Taverham or Costessey. If you come via Taverham you need to be on Costessey Road and if you enter via Costessey you will actually be on Taverham Lane. Confused yet? It is the same road and halfway along is the ski club. The entrance is right is the middle of the 'S' bends where you will see it sign posted with Anglian Water and Norwich Water Ski Club signs. For SatNav users use the postcode NR8 5BE.
