Caroline is a firm believer in absolute correct fundamentals. She encourages every pupil to be aware of their own GASP (grip, aim, stance and posture). After years of teaching and analysing her students, she knows most swing faults can almost certainly be traced back to fundamentals. During her playing career, she has had access to world-class golf instruction. One of the most memorable pointers given to her was from renowned golfer David Leadbetter to simply improve her posture. Caroline realises there are many methods teachers out there and although she respects the newer methods such as stack-and-tilt and the one-plane swing, she emphasises that a golf swing will not work and be consistent unless the foundation is correct. Therefore, strong, solid fundamentals are encouraged and checked every lesson from beginner golfer to champion golfer. Arguably the greatest golfer of all time, Jack Nicklaus, went to his coach Jack Grout at the start of every season and all they ever worked on were the basics. You must find the root cause before you can fix the fault. Caroline enjoys teaching golfers all the standards and is very passionate in helping every student achieve their goal.
