What is Escrima? 🤔
Escrima is one of the Filipino martial arts (FMA), sometimes referred to as Kali or Arnis, and it uses a mixture of blunt and bladed weapons.

Why train with weapons? 🤨
Weapons help develop our understanding of range, angles, timing, and power. They move at angles we do not usually encounter in empty hand training, which can help open up our peripheral vision, and they can be used as a training tool that forces us to move and work for position, all of which can benefit empty hand combat.

If you already train in another martial art, then Escrima can be a good companion art and complement your existing skills.

We also train with weapons to gain a better understanding of how to defend against them, if running away isn’t an option.

We train all combinations of:
✅ Weapon vs Weapon
✅ Unarmed vs Weapon
✅ Unarmed vs Unarmed
