UEA Dance Squad (formerly ROYAL)

We are the largest student-run dance society at the University of East Anglia, where every day is dance day! The styles we currently teach are Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Commercial and Jazz. We have classes for everyone, no matter what your ability, you are welcome! We also hold auditions for our competition squads who participate at inter-university dance competitions.

🌟SHOW AND COMP TASTERS TIMETABLE 2026🌟

We are so excited to announce this year’s taster sessions!! We will be holding them for both the show squad classes, which are open to everyone, and also the competition classes, for those who would like to audition for our 2026/27 competitions teams 🕺

Keep an eye out on our UEA SU page soon for tickets 🎉 they are free for all however on a first-come-first-served basis, so make sure to get them as soon as they are released!

We will also be heading to the SU bar after tasters… 🥳

We hope to see lots of you there, and please do come along even if you are unsure about joining! It’s a great opportunity to experience what dance squad classes are like and to meet new people ☺️💙
