Lost Property at the Pavilion

Have you lost something at the Pavilion over the last few months?

We are currently sorting through our lost property. If you think you may have left an item behind, please get in touch with our Assistant Clerk by emailing [email protected] or contact the Parish Council office.

Any unclaimed items will be donated at the end of July, so please contact us before then if you think something may belong to you.

🌿 Volunteer Opportunity – Footpath Warden 🌿

Do you enjoy walking and care about your local countryside?
Rackheath Parish Council is looking for a dedicated volunteer to take on the role of Footpath Warden. This is in accordance with a Parish Footpath Audit request from Norfolk Ramblers.

🚶‍♂️ About the role:
• Monitor the condition of local footpaths and Rights of Way
• Document an audit of the local footpaths and Rights of Way
• Liaise with the Parish Council and relevant authorities when needed

🌱 What we’re looking for:
• Someone with an interest in the local area and outdoor access
• Good observation and communication skills
• A willingness to make occasional inspections (at your convenience)

🌿Rackheath Community Council – Local Handyperson Wanted 🌿
We’re looking for a reliable local individual or company to help with ad hoc tasks around the Pavilion and wider Rackheath area. Work will vary month to month and could include:
• General groundworks
• Minor repairs & maintenance
• Fixing signage
• Painting
• Playground upkeep
You will need to be either self-employed or a limited company with liability insurance and be able to invoice the Community Council when tasks are complete.
