Last night was one of those evenings that makes us feel very lucky 🖤

A full house for our Monday Club Night, followed by drinks, nibbles and a lot of chatting by the water.

I didn’t take any photos while everyone was here. And actually, I’m quite glad I didn’t. Sometimes it’s nice just to be there and enjoy it.

So this was the only photo I took — once everyone had gone home and everything was quiet again.

Go Paddle may be about paddleboarding, but nights like last night remind me that it’s become about so much more than that.

Brilliant, kind people. New friendships. Familiar faces. And a wonderful little community that has grown around our love of being on the water.

Feeling very grateful for it all. 🖤

16 years…..From one of the earliest plastic SUPs to today’s race boards, it’s been amazing to watch our sport evolve.

Some boards become classics.
Some earn a cult following.
And some simply mark chapters in your own story.

Whatever you’re paddling, it’s never really been about the board.

It’s always been about the water 🤙💙

2009 - Ocean Kayak Nalu

Where it all started.
One of the very first plastic SUPs. A hybrid kayak and paddleboard with a cult following and almost impossible to break.
Long before inflatables, this little orange board opened up a whole new world.

A true classic.

2015 - Jobe Bamboo 10’6”

The hard board era.
Beautiful bamboo construction, smooth glide and timeless looks.
For many paddlers, this was peak paddleboarding. Hard boards ruled, and life was all about chasing sunny days and glassy water.

Still one of the prettiest boards I’ve owned.

2020 - Red Paddle Co Ride 10’6”

The board that changed everything.
The inflatable revolution made paddleboarding accessible to everyone.

Reliable, stable and built to last, the Ride became a modern classic and helped grow the sport we know today.

The board that made paddleboarding mainstream.

2025 - Red Paddle Co Elite Race

Still learning. Still chasing adventure.

Lighter, faster and built for speed

From those first wobbly paddles on an orange Nalu to racing and exploring further than I ever imagined.

Same passion. Different boards.
