New kit

Unless you have been walking round with your eyes closed this last week you would have seen the new kit in the gym.

Here’s quick run down of the new kit. And I have all these demo videos up. On my YouTube DM for an easy link. And all of these are locked and loaded into my online coaching app so you’re always sure of the exercise that you’re doing when you go to the gym.

Consistency …

A little training dump of media. Flexing and lifting. Ohh shiny pictures …

A few shots from over the last couple of weeks.

Despite some busy weekends and always on the go, shifting food around and training around one thing held true. Consistency.

I might not be doing as much running but I am really hitting lifting and proud of the progress I’ve been making. And cardio has been on the bike. Spin classes and more chill sessions.

Slowly gaining slowly getting stronger particularly happy with the last video 130 for 6 back squat - a number I haven’t got in ages.

Consistent effort wins over everything
Fad diets, hard and fast challenges, super tough training blocks

There’s always a push phase and a pause phase a time to work and a time to back off. But consistently showing up that’s no 1. Every time for long term fitness. Health. Mental health. Body comp. It’s the full package.

Honey Gochujang Korean pulled chicken and rice.

1kg chicken
150ml soy sauce
75-100ml rice vinegar
50gs honey
As much garlic as you can handle
As much gochujang paste as you want 1-2-tbs should do it
1 stock cube
Top fluid up with 250ml water in pressure cooker
Drizzle of sesame oil.

Slow cook till pullable
Pressure cook 30 mins and leave to depressure for best results - if you’re lazy just press depressurise

Add to sandwiches bagels or rice or loaded fries.

Serves 4-5 good sized chicken portions.

Some highlights from last weeks pull.

Rolling a successful week shifting the focus to Arms a bit more.

More volume in the areas you want to grow. More results. (Within reason)

Definitely looking for more growth in the arms in the next block. As this will be a big focus going forward. A lot of catching up to do on the old legs .

Another race week and this week it’s my home race at Snetterton. Gonna be class to get out and work with the  boys again...

Another race week and this week it’s my home race at Snetterton.

Gonna be class to get out and work with the boys again in their pre race prep . It feels like both ages and no time at all since I was lat supporting at Donnington.

Will be a class weekend, in to watch in the GTs too with and .hopkinson Saturday and Sunday who have been busy testing already in the heat this week.

It’s gonna be another scorcher, more than likely is hydration and nutrition is going to have to be on point this weekend to make the most of the time in the car and maximise results.

Showing up is half the battle.

If you’ve done that you’ve done like half the work.

If you show up as regularly and a countryside bus. Never then 2 at once, it isn’t gonna cut it.

It’s doesn’t matter if it’s not perfect. It’s real. It’s you putting work in to better yourself. Show up consistently and you’ll see the difference.

Building muscle.

Getting leaner.

Getting fitter.

Just feeling better.

Show up consistently and you will feel it. You will see the difference.
