U15s 2:0 Cringleford hornets.

Great start to the season for the boys.

Buxton were in control for large proportions of the game today, the score would've been more had it not been for a very good (and tall) cringleford keeper. Several opportunities came our way in the first half, all beaten away by the keeper, our defence stood firm, limiting the opposition to a single corner and chance on goal.

Halftime 0:0

Second half goals from Harley and Fin secured the points on the opening day of the season. Benji came close several times, one of which only being saved by the fingertips of the keeper pushing the ball off onto the post.

We have a great group of lads now, showing maturity and composure on the ball, they all worked hard for each other today to get a well deserved result - well done boys! 💪

Would be great to get as many as we can over to support the Buxton lads. Any raffle prize donations would be very appreciated. Raffle tickets can be purchased from Bob, Glenda and Sophie
After the game we will be heading to Horsham st Faiths Social Club where the bar will be open for us to raise a glass together
