Yesterday we hosted title contenders horsford to hinks meadow! Always a tough and entertaining game against a top side. We got off to a great start with clipping a great ball back across the box to who took a great first touch and finished into the far corner to make it 1-0! Horsford equalised with a really well taken free kick, the wall jumped and the horsford midfielder drilled the ball perfectly under the wall into the bottom corner leaving ._.c18 no chance and that’s how it stayed till half time! One change at the break with coming off after suffering a knock to be replaced by .olliek._ who wasted no time in getting involved, good work from him on the edge of the box finding with good feet to cut inside I finish nicely again to put us 2-1 up! Things got even better ten minutes later with finding who had timed his run well to race through and calmly slot into the bottom corner to extend our lead to 3-1! It wouldn’t be a taverham performance without us conceding from a set piece and that’s what happened with .chaplin_ nodding in from close range to make it 3-2 and a tense end to the game! We held out to take the 3points and felt we deserved it after a few times this season the boys all putting a shift in and coming up just short! Was a very tough decision to select the squad this week with a few boys missing out, but it was a real squad performance yesterday with the lads coming off the bench making a real impact and not letting the level drop and helping us to get over the line!
