Exciting Update: U19 Contact Football Sessions and New Flag Football Opportunities!

We’re thrilled to share some exciting updates about our football programmes!

Starting this summer, the U19 contact football sessions will be held during the school holidays (July/August). These sessions will continue to be supported by the University of East Anglia (UEA) and will take place at the UEA Colney Lane playing fields. This is a great opportunity for players of all ability to stay active and develop their skills during the holidays!

In addition to the contact sessions, we’re excited to announce that flag football sessions will now be offered at schools and colleges through the UEA’s existing outreach programme.

Flag football is a non-contact version of the sport. It’s a fantastic way for students to learn the fundamentals of football in a safe, inclusive, and fun environment, regardless of their prior experience or athletic ability.
These sessions will also be featured at special events held at the UEA Sportspark, making it easier than ever for students to get involved and enjoy the game.

🏈 **What a practice season! Thank You to Our Rising Stars!** 🏈

We’ve just wrapped up an incredible University Outreach Practice Season for our 16-18 year old, up-and-coming American football athletes! From April to August 2024, we saw amazing growth, determination, and talent on the field. Attendance was through the roof, and the energy was unmatched week after week!

Huge shout out to all our young athletes for showing up, putting in the work, and making this summer one for the books. You are the future of the game, and we’re so proud of the progress each of you has made!

The next practice season kicks off in **March 2025**, and we can’t wait to see even more talent, drive, and passion out on the field. Stay tuned for updates, and keep training hard during the off-season!
