Ballroom and Latin dance classes and lessons for all ages and abilities. Just for fun or exams and competitions available.

Principal is IDTA Fellow & Uka licentiate. Fully insured, DBS, safeguarding and first aid trained. Victoria is qualified with the IDTA and continues CPD regularly, she is trained in safeguarding, first aid and is annually DBS checked. We encourage a family feel within the school to produce a safe and friendly environment to encourage all students to develop to their full potential.

Yesterday I was given the opportunity to meet Kai off of the 'Strictly'
Thank you very much Rebecca and Brendan !! ❤️
He put the Latin girl into Ballroom hold - however if I'm doing Ballroom you all know i take the lead - see pic two, Kai as lady/follower in PP.

Please enjoy my granny dress as it was too hot for nice clothes!

It's not long until our summer fair.

I would absolutely love it if we could have a super attendance.

We have small local businesses, stalls from our school members ( im trying very hard on mine, if you know me well, you know its painful for me 😆) plus fun, free activities.

Something for all ages !

Dancers new and less new, supporters and your friends. It's a cute way to spend an easy Sunday.

A nice way to visit the venue and meet the gang too.

My dad is currently getting annoyed constructing my garden swing while our Barbara sits on the lounger under a parasol with a rose spritzer 🤣

Saturday dancers
Due to lots of illness and holidays im cancelling practice class.
Ill be in for Gold Bar and privates as usual though.

Treat yourself, early finish and feet up on a saturday afternoon

Well done to my new adult beginners this evening. You were all amazing 👏 im so proud of you all.

Looking forward to next week already. I know ive a few coming along next week who weren't in today, dont worry you'll be looked after !

Adult beginners
Its your time to shine very soon.

This Thursday at 6.45 pm is the start of our latest 6 week course. Ive had enquiries from lots of new people so thought it would be nice to see where we are.

I made a little rubbish video below so you can see the building, the gate and door to use, mind the step !

Yesterday we attended the area qualifiers.
What a fantastic competition, so many in each afe group, and the standard was so high!!

Again I only took a handful of dancers and they danced their socks off !
Congratulations to all who qualified, what an achievement.

Then we had finals, well done Scarlet ( and Fiona can now breathe 👏) Tim, Simon, Hollie. Kate and Linda .

Well done all, a busy day gorgeous partners, dancers and supporters. Thank you so much.

Im only taking a handful but what talented dancers they are.

A couple of my stardance class trying the new IDTA International Dance Teachers Association American Smooth Vienese Waltz. Not bad for day 1, but they loved it. Maybe ill stand a bit closer to film next time 😆 🤣 glasses on folks 👓

A week on Thursday will be the start of our new adult beginners class. Ive had a lot of interest so looking forward to seeing some old and new faces.

Thought id answer a few possible questions for those new to the studio.

Please wear something comfy, you can move around in.
Stick to trainers for now and if you love it we can advise on some dance shoes going forward.

When you arrive, use the 2nd door, we have a coded lock, so just knock for now and we'll give you the code before you leave.

Its a 6 week course, which we continue with, learning different dances each time, until we've built up a repertoire, then we stop the 6 weeks and just roll along month at a time.This allows new people to join in the early stages.

If you can bring correct cash where possible to pay before we start on week 1 that would be ideal. I know we have some starting week 2 due to hols, but thats fine and we'll see you then.

You can choose to dance leader or follower, I know i prefer leader !!
