After a bad result just under 40 hours ago Inter were tasked with a title winning Sheerness side, the game wouldn’t change the league position but both sides were playing for an invincible season.

Inter showed their bounce back ability with a goal scramble leaving Tim to pick up the pieces and poking home, not long after it was 2, a fuller miscue teed up Sam to beat the keeper at the near post. On the stroke of half time Sheerness pulled one back with an absolute peach of a finish from 30 yards out. Just after the restart Tim got his 2nd of the game rounding the keeper as he so usually does. Once again Sheerness responded this time with an overhead kick to set up a grand stand last 30. Inter then caught Sheerness in transition with Cam sliding in Sam to make it 4-2 and to put the game to bed. With 15 remaining Sam broke away and was fouled by the keeper. Penalty Inter, 5-2 Sam hatty.

That ended an unforgettable season for Inter, 1 trophy (Our one isn’t AI) Promoted being the only unbeaten team in the league, with the most goals scored and the best defence in the league.

A game that was 4 years in the making with silverware just 90 minutes away, Inter started nervy and White Horse took control for the first 20 minutes. With just 5 minutes from half time the game was flipped on its head. In the 40th minute Fuller took down a White Horse clearance sending one player back to Sittingbourne and smashing it in from 30 yards out.
Inters tails were up. Alex pounced onto a long ball and played in Sam his shot was saved which then hit a White Horse defender to make it 2-0 right before half time.
Inter went in 2 up at the break with just 45 minutes away from a trophy. The 2nd half saw Inter constantly catching White Horse on the counter before White Horse on the 70th minute were awarded a controversial penalty, fortunately for Inter justice prevailed as the resulting penalty cleared the stadium. Just 5 minutes after this Sam Neale Broke down the left cutting it back from Tim to put it in, 3-0! 7 minutes later the exact same goal happened again and Inter saw themselves 4-0 up with 10 remaining. The subs had completely turned the tied.
White Horse then scored a consolation from a corner.
Before Tim tackled the White Horse keeper to make it 5-1 in the 93rd minute.

Back in league action for inter for the first time in a month. Inter flew out the blocks with Jack winning and converting a penalty in the first minute. Not long after Ben May Inters goalkeeper pinged an Ederson like pass into Alex who knocked it past the keeper. Inter continued to apply the pressure and it paid off when Parker converted his 2nd free kick in 2 games. The next 50 minutes of the game saw White Horse take control scoring 2. With 5 minutes remaining as he so usually does Sam Neale rounded off a quick counter attack to make it 4-2.

Just a few pictures from today’s Semi final.

After a defeat in last weeks Semi-Final a response was needed. The first half was an uncharacteristic display from Inter finding themselves a goal down and deservedly so. The 2nd half saw an immediate reaction with Luke Fuller assisting Luke Parker from a dead ball situation putting us back on terms. Inter where then on the front with Sam Neale after finishing his first half stint in goal winning a free-kick which lead to Parker sticking it straight into the cobwebs and turning the game on its head. The 2nd half was a non-event from then on until with 30 seconds left Harrison Thorogood latched onto a Luke Fuller pass cementing Inters place in another final this season.

Onto next week which sees us face White Horse, a team we will meet in both of our finals.
