A woman on a mission to better herself, her health and life without restriction ☺️❤️🔥
Within our initial chat I explained to Sam that I would be asking her to eat more than her current “dieting” calories that she had set for herself. And initially for anyone telling them that you’re asking them to eat more food when wanting to lose weight / drop fat can seem confusing.
After one week it was clear to see that the “diet” Sam had been following wasn’t too accurate, and this wasn’t down to the calorie goal set but more the extra calories on the side, the food not weighed and just roughly guessed. This is where dieting can easily slip up, when we guess, or over restrict and cut calories drastically which leads to eating a lot more in moments and thinking that this is all “balanced” - when in reality this is just an endless cycle or weight gain or maintenance.
So we had the goals and then together we created a structure that worked, and this has shown with Sam’s adherence and want to better herself ☺️ With 7kg down on the scales, 12cm off her hips and 9cm off her waist, and the health shifts we have seen have been HUGE - taking the focus off fat loss, but more so on health, wellbeing, relationship with exercise and self confidence & belief.
So so so proud of the progress Sam has made mentally, through life and navigating this fat loss.
From the beginning of April the focus and effort has been clear, by putting in the work and simply following the plan set ☺️
The plan:
A steady daily step goal, which we gradually tapered up when achieved week on week, to now hold at what we be routine.
Cardio was added for the first three months and then removed to help with rate of loss.
A set calorie deficit, focusing on a 0.2-0.3kg rate of loss, with holiday diet breaks and weekends off tracking.
100% from the start, made it feel easier throughout, less pressure and more accountability, watching the hard work pay off.
