A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Mixed Summer 7’s Tournament! 💙🏑

What a fantastic day of hockey, brilliant competition and plenty of laughs on and off the pitch. It was great to see all the teams taking part and making it such a memorable event.

Congratulations to Macclesfield Hockey Club on being crowned this year’s tournament winners! 🏆👏

A massive thank you to all the players, umpires, volunteers and supporters who helped make the day such a success. We couldn’t do it without you, and we hope everyone had as much fun as we did.

We can’t wait to do it all again next year! 💙🤍

🏑 Summer Hockey continues throughout August with relaxed mixed sessions open to all members.

🏟️ Open Pitch returns on selected evenings – a great opportunity to get some extra hockey in, bring a friend or just enjoy a run around.

❤️ Defib Training – 9 August
Learn how to use a defibrillator and what to do in a cardiac emergency. It’s a free, worthwhile session that could help save a life.

💪 Pre-season Training gets underway from 24 August:
• Men’s 2s/3s – 24 August
• Back/New to Hockey – 25 August (FREE 6-week programme)
• Ladies – 26 August
• Men’s 1s – 27 August

🦡 Junior Hockey Returns!
• 7 September – Badgers Training begins
• 9 September – Otters & Beavers Training begins

Ever fancied trying hockey? Now’s your chance!

Join us for our Give It A Go Session on Saturday 1 August from 12:40pm – 2:10pm at Moss Farm.

Whether you’ve never picked up a hockey stick before, haven’t played since school, or you’re looking to get back into the game, everyone is welcome. All abilities are encouraged to come along for a fun, friendly session.

The session is taking place alongside our Mixed 7s Tournament and the Mid Cheshire Scooter Rally B**r Festival, so there’ll be plenty to see throughout the day, with food and drinks available too.

🏑Mixed 7’s Hockey Tournament – Saturday 1st August! 🏑

Join us at Winnington Park Hockey Club for a fantastic day of hockey as our Mixed 7’s Tournament takes place at Moss Farm!

🕚 First push back: 11:00am
🏁 Final games finish: 4:00pm

The tournament is running alongside the Mid Cheshire Scooter Rally B**r Festival, so there’s plenty to enjoy even if you’re not playing!

💙🤍WOMEN’S COACHES ANNOUNCEMENT 🤍💙

We’re super excited to officially announce our women’s coaches for the 2026/27 season! 🏑

A huge welcome to Matt “Dippy”, who is stepping into a new role as Women’s 1st Team Coach, bringing years of coaching experience and a passion for helping players develop and enjoy their hockey.

We’re also delighted to have Paul back for his 3rd season at Winnington, continuing as 2/3s Coach and helping create the fun, positive environment that makes our club so special.

We can’t wait to see what this season brings and are excited for the journey ahead with both coaches leading the way! 💙🏑
