A brilliant performance in the sunshine today as the Wasps hosted Crewe Panthers.

With a few carrying knocks and a depleted squad due to injuries, the 11 dug deep and delivered—playing some fantastic football, topped off with a few goal-of-the-season contenders

Witton Wasps U15s are recruiting ahead of next season as we move into U16s

We compete in the Mid Cheshire Youth League – Division 2, and are looking to strengthen the squad with players ready for the next step.

We’ll be training throughout the summer and taking part in summer tournaments, so it’s a great time to get involved and settle into the team.

The Wasps entertained league leaders Barnton this morning, who arrived with a flawless 12 wins from 12 league record. With a local derby and school bragging rights on the line, lots were at stake.

A tough game and not quite at our fluent best, but positives and a well-earned point to take home.

Man of the Match for the second week running goes to Dylan — super intelligent, calm on the ball and at times it looked like it was glued to his foot. Another outstanding performance.

Super proud of the boys. We managed the game brilliantly, battled for everything, and showed incredible character throughout.

Absolutely no shame in the result against a very good side — a league above us and still chasing the treble. It’s a reminder of our journey and just how far we’ve come.

Incredible maturity, works his socks off, and stood strong when it mattered most.

Not the result we wanted this morning, but once again a really disciplined and solid performance against a tough side, especially with a thin squad due to injuries.

Possibly unfortunate to not come away with something.

Plenty of positives, including the return of Seb and Joe after a five-week layoff. Both slotted back in seamlessly.

Man of the Match went to Joe: keeps us ticking in midfield, neat and tidy on the ball, and covers every blade of grass.
