Davenham’s U15's bounced back from defeat to record an excellent win against Chester BH last night.

After losing to group winners Toft on Sunday, the boys put in a strong batting performance to post 135/9 off their 20 overs. In reply CBH came close thanks to some excellent shots at the top of the order, but the match turned on 4 wickets in 6 balls from Harley T, including a hat-trick.

Davenham won by 7 runs and now move on to an U14 cup match against Toft!

Massive congratulations to our first team Captain Connor Mizzi scoring his first Davenham hundred!

Chasing 183 away at Ashley CC, Connor scored 123 not out which included 12 4s and 5 6s to lead his team to a brilliant victory. Hopefully the first of many to come. Class work! 🏏🏏🏏

Tonight our U11s travelled to Toft for a County League fixture, and what a match it turned out to be.

Toft batted brilliantly and set an impressive total of 291, leaving Davenham with a tough chase ahead. The game went right down to the wire, with plenty of nail-biting moments, but the boys held their nerve and edged a thrilling victory, finishing on 303.

There were some outstanding batting performances throughout the innings. A special mention goes to Fin Atherton, who scored an excellent 36, and in particular to Jake Ashley-Rogers, whose incredible 52 runs proved pivotal in securing the win. An absolutely superb knock—well done, Jake!

A fantastic team effort all round and another great evening of junior cricket. 💙🏏👏

Today was all about the girls as our U11s headed to Middlewich Cricket Club to represent Davenham at the first Girls’ Festival. 🏏

There was some fantastic cricket on show from all the teams, with brilliant sportsmanship throughout and, most importantly, plenty of beaming smiles all day long.

A huge well done to all the girls for representing the club so brilliantly, and thank you to everyone involved in making it such a great day! 💙💛🏏

Another first team century.

Congrats to Sam Hunt on a fabulous 101* off 91 balls including 7 fours and 6 sixes.

The knock helped the 1st team chase down a huge total of 277!!
