Introducing the SATURDAY Ellesmere Port GC Open. To be held on Saturday 19th September. Tee times available from 9am to 1pm. Societies, groups, fourballs and singles welcome. Just sign in on golf genius or drop me a message and I’ll book you in. Only £25 per player. This course needed a bit of TLC in recent years and the new owners have provided it. Investing time, money and expertise in to the tees, trees and most importantly the greens. It’s already playing far better than last year and will be even better my mid September. See you there.

· Hello Everyone. I have a handful of spaces available on the following trip to Hawkstone Park at incredible value. Please let me know if you want in.

Details are

Bacon baguette and coffee on arrival on day 1

· 2 rounds of golf: 1 on the Hawkstone Course and one on the Championship Course. The field will split in half for each day. Tee times from 12pm on day 1 and 9am on day 2.

· Overnight accommodation (assumed 2 sharing although single rooms and upgrades available)

· 3 course evening dinner

· Prize giving after

· Breakfast day 2

· Usual Holben Golf Prizes for both days plus overall 2-day comp prizes

· Nearest pins each day

· Balls as prizes for 2s

The dates are Thursday 11th June and Friday 12th June and the cost will be £199 per person.

Hello all Holben Lovers

First of all an apology, a small break from Holben events has meant shocking weather with tons of rain and crazy winds. Clearly my fault. However, the clocks have gone forward now so we can break out the summer shoes and put the mats away.

Our summer season begins in just 9 days (Friday 10th April) at one of our returning favourites, Reddish Vale. It's also Masters Friday which will be on in the clubhouse for all to enjoy and see how it is really done. We have plenty already booked on with some slots left and I need to let the club know final numbers by Friday so if you've not booked on already please do so via the usual golf genius route (link below) or let me know and I can do for you.
