The committee are pleased to announce that, following a thorough recruitment process, the Committee has appointed Ryan Martin as our new Head Greenkeeper.

Ryan brings extensive experience in links course management, having worked in Australia and at prestigious courses in England and Scotland, including The Grove and Renaissance.

During the interview process, Ryan demonstrated a strong understanding of Warkworth Golf Club, along with enthusiasm and ideas for developing the course and improving our greenkeeping practices and equipment.

We are confident that Ryan’s experience, skills and enthusiasm will be a great asset to the Club and will help us continue to improve the course for the benefit of our members and visitors.

Ryan will take up his position on 5th October 2026.

Due to renovation work being carried out on our greens temporary greens will be in play today .
The topdressing of the greens has had to be delayed until later in the week as the weather has not been kind to us but rest assured we will be back on main greens as soon as posible .

Now we have the cushman up and running we can carry out the long needed top dressing of the greens , extra feed to greens that need it ,
This will be carried out this coming Tuesday if the weather allows it or the first suitable day
