We know that sometimes it’s important for you to speak to an actual human 👋🏼

And we know how frustrating it is when you just can’t get through 😤 Our office team are available Monday - Friday 10am - 3pm 💻

As temperatures rise, so does the temptation to cool off in the water.

But before you head to the beach, river, lake, paddling pool or garden pond, take a moment to remember that water can be dangerous in places we least expect.

Drowning is often silent. Open water can trigger cold water shock, even on the hottest days. And a child can drown in just a few centimetres of water.

This week, we’re asking families to:
💙 Know the risks
💙 Stay safe around water
💙 Don’t take the risk – it’s not worth it
💙 Remember that water safety starts at home too

Whether it’s a paddling pool in the garden or a swim in open water, supervision, preparation and water safety knowledge save lives.

If you’re in difficulty in the water, remember: FLOAT TO LIVE.

🚨 In an emergency, call 999. Ask for the Coastguard at the coast or Fire & Rescue at inland water locations.

Let’s enjoy the sunshine safely and make sure every child gets home safely.
