Hi I'm Dave,
I am a fitness professional who is totally committed in helping people succeed in reaching their health and fitness goals. I specialise in life changing fitness, by providing nutritional advice specific to your needs and by creating tailored lifestyle programs unique to everyone's day to day lives and aspirations. I will never forget the day when I decided to change my life for the b
etter. It was the eve of the millennium, I was at my sister's house, at a family new yearβs party. She had a full length mirror and to this day, I will never forget the reflection looking back at me. I was 19 stone, just shy of 20, I felt disgusted with myself and the way I felt. The very next day, I did what I thought was the impossible, I stopped doing everything that was wrong for me, which included smoking, drinking, eating rubbish and not getting any exercise. I started running round my back garden, the first time nearly killed me, but I was determined to change, so I carried on, I ran more and more. So my first ever goal was to run around Abington Park. That was my first major goal ticked off, from then I have been setting myself more and more. Within 6 months I had lost almost five stone. I was over the moon with the results I was seeing but even more pleased that I had smashed so many goals I had set for myself. This is now my lifestyle. My new found enjoyment for exercise and fitness lead me to train in martial arts. I am a black belt kick boxing instructor. I train people from the ages of 4 to 64. It is very rewarding helping people become more confident through self-defence. It offers rewards on so many levels from fitness to focus, discipline, balance, coordination and agility to name but a few. I strongly believe these rewards lend themselves to personal training also. This brings me to the present day. Having become a qualified personal trainer, I specialise in a variety of training methods to suit different goals. I use a variety of styles and equipment in my programs, such as kettlebells, suspension training, and bodyweight exercises. I like to incorporate kick boxing elements to my programs, but the amount of this I include is down to you. So whatever your goal is; whether it be completing an assault course competition; looking to lose weight; increase muscle mass, or just improve your fitness, I will get you there. All you need to do is take that first step, drop me a message and let me help you begin your journey.
