Worrying about saying the wrong thing is the number one reason people stay silent.

This is your final reminder to secure your free spot for our webinar next week on Monday 22nd June 2026 from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM online via Zoom.

Many professionals want to challenge inappropriate comments or harmful behaviour at work, but they worry about escalating the situation or damaging relationships, which is why this practical session explores how to handle these moments informally, confidently, and safely using the 5 D's of active bystander intervention so participants can understand the difference between behaviour that can be addressed informally, behaviour that should be escalated, and situations requiring immediate intervention.

This is a live, discussion-led session featuring audience polls and Q&A, so make sure you register to secure your spot.

Are your managers accidentally blocking potential talent?

This Learning Disability Week, look closely at how your business defines potential talent because when managers lack clarity, they default to rigid assumptions, meaning if an employee communicates differently, needs information broken down, or struggles with traditional processes, their capability is often unfairly questioned.

The barrier isn't the individual's intelligence it’s an inflexible management system, and true equity means training leaders to look past presentation and measure objective outcomes. Don't guess where your management biases lie, so take our 5 - 7 minute Manager Capability & Confidence Diagnostic today to check your team's readiness.

Let’s clear up a common misunderstanding this Learning Disability Week.

Myth: Learning disability and learning difficulty mean the same thing.

Fact: They are different, although some people may experience both.

A learning difficulty, such as dyslexia or dyscalculia, usually affects a specific area of learning and does not necessarily affect overall intellectual ability.

A learning disability affects intellectual development and can impact how someone learns, communicates, understands information and manages aspects of everyday life.

The distinction matters because the right language helps us understand people’s experiences more accurately and provide the right support.

This Learning Disability Week, we’re reflecting on the importance of language, understanding and visibility.

A learning disability is different from a learning difficulty or a neurodivergent condition. Some people may identify with more than one of these terms, but they shouldn’t be used interchangeably.

Using accurate language helps us to avoid assumptions, better understand peoples’ experiences and make sure support is meaningful.

This week is a reminder to listen, learn and ensure people with a learning disability are seen, heard and valued.

Organisations rarely struggle because of a lack of intent; they struggle because systems, confidence, and clarity break down entirely under pressure.

This Carers Week, it is vital to recognise that when it comes to supporting the 1 in 7 workers juggling their jobs with unpaid care, line management capability is your absolute make-or-break factor.

Across our work with employers, we see the exact same pattern: well-meaning initiatives fail because training is introduced before the core foundations are there, meaning support relies too heavily on individual, sympathetic managers and employees end up getting completely mixed messages across different teams.

Rather than jumping directly into generic training programmes that don't stick, we start with readiness, risk, and reality by using our impartial diagnostics to evaluate your actual, everyday workplace practices against a clear framework.

Stop guessing if your management framework can handle the realities of your caregiving workforce and fill out our free, 7-minute Manager Capability & Confidence Diagnostic below to see exactly where your team stands.

The stories we hear growing up help us imagine what’s possible, influence the choices we make, and shape exactly who we believe we can become, which is why stories matter so deeply in social mobility by making opportunity visible and turning abstract metrics into something real, human, and achievable.

For organisations, stories are more than something to tell, they’re something to build, because every hiring process, every internal promotion, and every everyday conversation contributes to a wider narrative about who gets a chance and who gets left out.

Social mobility doesn't happen by accident; it requires deliberate action, opening closed doors, and auditing systemic barriers, which is why this Social Mobility Day, the official campaign challenges us all with 3 Critical Asks:

Chapter 1 (Turn Over a New Leaf) asks what is one achievable thing you can do this week to move your hiring or progression processes forward.

Chapter 2 (The Plot Twist) asks what conversation or internal shift changed how your leadership views socio-economic diversity.

Chapter 3 (In a Land Not So Far Away) asks what story do you want your organisation to be able to tell this time next year.

Looking for inspiration? Head over to our YouTube channel to watch our expert webinar series where leaders openly share their own stories and let us know your "Chapter 1" in the comments below!

"a really positive experience." ✨

We recently had some amazing feedback from our client Preventx after they took part in our Mental Health First Aid course.

Seeing organisations put their people first and back up their good intentions with structured, confident skills is exactly why we do what we do.

Physical health accessibility is a fundamental pillar of workplace equity.

For Diabetes Week, we’re sharing clear, actionable tips for HR leaders and managers to support diabetic employees through simple reasonable adjustments:

Provide Flexible Routine Breaks: Allow uninterrupted windows throughout the day for blood glucose monitoring, insulin administration, and snacks to maintain stable blood sugar levels.

Ensure Accessible Safe Storage: Guarantee private, cool, and reliable medical fridge storage spaces specifically for insulin so employees don't have to worry about medication safety.

Offer Flexible Scheduling: Support adjustable start, finish, or remote working times to help employees safely navigate and recover from sudden hypo or hyper fatigue episodes.

Create Private Spaces: Dedicate a clean, private, and dignified room (other than workplace restrooms) where individuals can test their blood or administer injections comfortably.

Is your workplace diabetes friendly?
