GRADING WEEK – BEGINNERS JUDO COURSE 🔴
What an amazing achievement for everyone!
After weeks of hard work, commitment, learning and development, our Beginners Judo Course has reached Grading Week.
What started with stepping onto the tatami for the very first time has developed into a fantastic group of confident, determined and capable Judoka.
Throughout the course, everyone has learned the foundations of Judo—from Ukemi, Kuzushi and Tai Sabaki, through to Nage-waza, Ne-waza, Osaekomi-waza, transitions on our structured Beginners course
But Judo is about more than learning techniques.
It's about discipline, respect, resilience, confidence and supporting the people around you.
We've watched this group grow together, help each other and develop an excellent team spirit. The progress you've all made has been outstanding.
🔴 Now it's time to put everything you've learned into practice.
A huge congratulations to every single one of you on reaching this stage. You should all be incredibly proud of how far you've come.
It was a pleasure and an honour to grade you all.
A huge thank you to Imi Baricz – 4th Dan Judo, former Hungarian International & Olympic Team member, IJF Coach and BJA Level 2 Coach – for leading the course and sharing his knowledge and experience.
Amazing work everyone. You've earned your place on that tatami.
And finally a huge congratulations and thank you to our 6th Kyu grades Amy, Dean and Logan who repeated the course as a refresher course.
Well done team!
