I am sure that everyone is aware but as from 1st September both Foxton and Watford lock flights will be closed until further notice. Over this bank holiday weekend they will be open on previously published restricted hours. Please keep up to date by checking CRT website

Update on Lock Restrictions.
As from 14/8/26 Foxton and Watford locks will be open 3 days a week- Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8am to midday, last boat in at 11am. Please check CRT website for confirmation.

Lock Restrictions.
I am sure most of you are aware that both Foxton and Watford locks as well as other Midlands lock flights are currently subject to time restricted opening. With Watford currently closed due to a broken paddle, which is currently being fixed. CRT has advised us that there is a possibility that complete closure of the flights/single locks may be a possibility at some point over the summer, and they continue to monitor the water availability. If you are planning a boat trip please check the CRT stoppage/ restrictions when planning your journey.
