Northampton Swimming Club is Swim England Swim Mark accredited club offering all levels of swimming.

Northampton Swimming Club offers extensive opportunities for both the competitive and non competitive swimmer, catering for all ages. Competitions range from Development gala's for the youngest swimmers through to a range of Junior competitions, County and Regional Championships, progressing through to National Championships. The Club takes part in the Nuneaton and District Junior League; National Arena League East Midlands and Inter Club County Competitions.

Nuneaton and District Division 1 Junior League Final 2026.

On Saturday 12th September 2026 Northampton Swimming Club A Team competed in the Nuneaton and District Division 1 Junior League Final. The team qualified for the final by finishing in the top 8 after the first 3 rounds. There was a great atmosphere from all Swimmers, Coaches, Team Managers, Officials and Supporters. All swimmers stepped up against the top teams in the league and placed the team 7th which was a huge improvement after finishing 17th last season and competing in Division 2 the season before.

This morning James Oscroft was presented with the Northamptonshire ASA Jean Thomas trophy. This trophy is awarded to the top 13/u Male swimmer at the Northamptonshire ASA county championships. James achieved the most World Aquatics points for the 400m IM and 400m Freestyle 🏆

The trophy was handmade by our Referee and former school Teacher Terry Bream - thank you Terry 😃

Well done to James and well done to Coach Noonan who coached James at the county championships.

That’s a wrap for the Swim England Summer Meet with strong performances to finish the season seeing 4 swimmers in 3 finals 😃

Women’s 100 free
Rose 1.27.41 heats ➡️ 1.23.79 PB Final 🥈

Women’s 200 fly
Orna 2.32.71 14th

Yesterday we saw Rose racing in the 100 free. Started off with a strong heat and putting herself in a good position for the final. When it came to the final she stepped up massively making a massive drop from her heats to PB and win a silver medal.

Next up was Orna in the 200 fly finishing 14th

Women’s 100 Back
Imogen 1.20.66 Heats ➡️ Final 1.19.25 5th
Vida 1.12.84 PB 37th (19th fastest 13 year old)

Women’s 800 Free
Lana 9.38.17 6th

Imogen was first up in the heats of the 100 back putting herself in a strong position for the final, finishing 5th and improving on her time from the heats.

Next up was Vida swimming in a double age band and finishing strong with another PB.

Lastly we had Lana swimming the 800 free putting in a good performance finishing 6th.

Women’s 50 Fly
Rose 44.22 Heats ➡️ Final 41.52 🥇

Bit of a quieter day yesterday with only 1 swimmer in the pool.

Rose swam a season best in the heats working on her skills. When it came to the final she has to face a delay before her race and she over came it to drop a massive 3 seconds from the morning swim!

Vida 2.35.93 31st Heats
Orna 2.29.70 Heats ➡️ Final 2.30.05 10th

Women’s 1500 Free
Lana 18.00.68 🥈

Excellent day of racing of racing at the swim England summer meet.

Vida raced to 31st in the a tough 13/14 year age group. She finished 13th in the 13 year age group.

Orna swam a season best to make the final in the 200 back.

Lana was up next in the 1500 free. Only racing the 7.5k a couple of days ago. She executed her race really well and went on to win a silver medal.
