One of a kind☝️

Hours of craftsmanship from Alex Mawby to donate a new jug for the club to represent the latest chapter in our history.

Club jugs are a traditional item in cricket, often found on the shelves of a club’s bar or neighbouring pubs.

A jug of the player’s choice of drink is expected to be bought by them when they achieve a personal landmark of a 5-for, 5 catches, a half century or century! The drink is shared around the club, offering a chance for thanks and story telling as memories become engraved in the club’s history.

Many thanks to Mawby! I’m sure they’ll be many memories found in the bottom of this new jug.

Thank You from The Chairman to everyone who volunteered and came out to support our Chairman’s Weekend!

Instagram and Facebook could not contain the length of my actual thank you list - it’s a great demonstration of how much love and passion you all put in to making this club so special ♥️ 🐎

Cricket clubs are more than cricket. They create bonds, give people opportunity to flourish, give a sense of purpose and belonging, provide role models, and give a you a group of people to commiserate and celebrate with through life’s highs and lows. This weekend showed it!
