Unfortunately, Sensei Shak is unwell, so we’ve had to make a couple of changes to this evening’s timetable.

❌ 5:15pm – All-In Kickboxing: CANCELLED

❌ 6:15pm – Cadets: CANCELLED

✅ 7:15pm – Senior Cadets & Adults: ON AS NORMAL

Coach Vinz will be there and ready to put you through your paces! 🥊🔥

Northampton trio selected to represent England at World Championships in France

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐖𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐇.

What it doesn’t show is the 50 times they practised it first.

The video shows the child confidently hitting pads.

It doesn’t show the first week when they barely spoke.

You see somebody wearing a coloured belt.

You don’t see all the evenings they turned up tired and trained anyway.

You see friends laughing together between rounds.

You don’t see the day they first walked into Endurance knowing absolutely nobody.

You see the medal.

You don’t see the nerves.

The mistakes.

The frustration.

The repetition.

The work.

That’s martial arts.

The exciting moments are brilliant.

But most progress happens quietly.

One class.

One round.

One correction.

One small win at a time.

Until one day somebody looks back and realises…

While most of Northampton was deciding whether it was too early for another coffee… ☕😂

Our lot were already on the mats.

Adults training.

Kids learning.

Families joining in.

Pads cracking.

People sweating.

People laughing.

And another Saturday morning started doing something positive instead of losing half the day to the sofa. 🥊🔥

That’s one of the things we love about weekend training.

You walk out before lunchtime already feeling like you’ve achieved something.

𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 = 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓. 👊🏽

🎒 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐀𝐓 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋…

Parents everywhere:

“Where’s your PE kit?”

“Have you done your homework?”

“WHY is there a half-eaten banana in your school bag already?!” 😂

September routines are officially back.

And this is also the point where parents start thinking about what their children are doing 𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐒𝐈𝐃𝐄 school.

Something active.

Something social.

Something that gets them away from a screen.

Something where they can build confidence, learn discipline and actually feel proud of their progress.

That’s where martial arts comes in. 🥋

Not every child wants football.

Not every child has found 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 yet.

Maybe kickboxing is it. 🥊❤️
