Warwick Motorsport is dedicated to promoting, enjoying and participating in any and all forms of motorsport for all its members. We try to put as much emphasis on motorsport participation as we can. During the upcoming year we will host many karting events. This year we will also be continuing with our very popular Driver Development Programme, using our own club karts! Our main competition is the

British University Karting Championships (BUKC) in rapid 2 stroke machines around the country's premier outdoor tracks against 60 other teams. But for those who don't think they are quite the next Lewis Hamilton yet, fear not. Although we pride ourselves on our performance in the BUKC each year, our events throughout each term are suitable for racers of all levels, even those who have never stepped inside a kart! That's a wrap on round 1 of the WKC ❗️Congrats to our race winner Jerry Tsang, who brought it home just 4 tenths ahead of James after making a 3 place recovery from qualifying, with Dan completing the podium after falling from pole position 🏁

Fantastic racing today from everyone, great battles up and down the order ⚔️ This sets the stage up nicely for a close race to the title over the course of the next 4 rounds 🏆

Points are tallied up as follows, with a "drop round" rule in place where if you compete in all 5 rounds, your worst result is dropped and not counted towards the final total 🫳

1st - 20 Points 🥇
2nd - 15 Points 🥈
3rd - 12 Points 🥉
4th - 10 Points
5th - 8 Points
6th - 6 Points
7th - 4 Points
8th - 3 Points
9th - 2 Points
10th - 1 Point
11th or Lower - 0 Points

BUKC IS BACK !! 🏁

The first BUKC event of the year is only a few days away. Testing means its time to get your BUKC licence, or get back into the swing of things if you're a returning driver. Either way, we're all excited for the fresh season to get underway.. 📅
