😞 BLUE MONDAY IS OFFICIALLY CANCELLED!! Cancelled by myself and my Boris duck 😂

💙 Created by a holiday company, Blue Monday was meant to tell you that today is the day to be the most miserable.

😭 New Year’s resolutions are down the pan, money is tight and the days are still dark and short!

💚 Like you need a National Day to tell you to be more miserable!!

🤸🏽‍♀️ So let’s flip that around and get away from that mindset.

☀️ ☔️ Get outside. Just 10mins is fine.
🤫 Take some quiet time. Just be still. Read a book. Get off your screens.
🚶🏻 Move.
☕️ Meet up with friends…or make some new ones
🍱 Plan some good food for the rest of the month.
🍷 Have a little less alcohol.

🥊 One thing endurance training has taught me is mental resilience. Believe me, being sat on a bike for 4 hours teaching you and your private parts resilience 🤯

🏃🏽‍♀️ But no one starts as a marathon runner!!

🛋️ In fact, most of us start on the sofa, scrolling through Facebook.

🥸 My first run was 20mins. 20mins in heart rate zone 2 (which was pretty much a stroll back then).

🤩 Endurance comes from showing up each week and adding a minute or 2…for a few weeks. Then, having an easy week (half term) and getting back to it.

💚 Lucky for Hitsonians, they don’t need to put that much thought into their training. That’s what we do as coaches. Hitsonians just need to commit to showing up twice per week to have a laugh in our 25min sessions!!

💻 Add to that the support, community and education Hitsona has to offer and BOOM 💥

🥊 If I can’t go all in, there’s no point….RELATE?

🥊 When I first talk to prospective members, I always ask, ‘how much time do you have spare to train each week?’

🥊 Most people say they want to come in every day.

🥊 So I ask again…when life isn’t going well, how many days can you absolutely commit to a 25min session. At this point they mostly say 2!

💚 Here’s the thing…if you commit to 6 per week and you only do 3, in your eyes, you have failed. Even though you have smashed 90mins of training.

💚 Now promise yourself 2 per week. Just 1 hour. If you manage that and feel you could probably do 3, in your eyes you’re winning.

💚 Something is better than nothing.
💚 Little and often soon adds up.
🛑 Stop with this all or nothing attitude that always leads you back to NOTHING!

🤩 Proud as a peacock!! Ok…I know that’s a pheasant but work with me here 😂😂

I’ve recently got really super busy and when I sat down with my diary (I’m a pen and paper kinda gal) I realised that during this busy period I’m actually getting 💩 done that I didn’t when I was quiet!

Yep…the busier I am the more I get done.

Energy creates energy.
Success breeds success.
Small wins create more small wins.

When I don’t have much on I lose energy to train, food prep and even do my socials.
