April ➡️ Now

This one is crazy!

When Molly first came to me, I could see there was huge potential there. The mindset and passion for training was already established, but what was lacking was a bit of structure and direction.

We fine tuned her program, made sure she was training the right things at the right time and with the right intensity. Once we got that dialled in, everything just seemed to click.

The result? More muscle, more strength and a completely different look to her physique. The difference in her back and shoulders speaks for itself.

What makes this even more exciting is this is roughly 3 months of growth. I genuinely can’t wait to see what another 6-12 months of growth looks like.

Really proud of you Molly 👏

One year working with John. 💪

When people think about a transformation, they usually think about the number on the scales.

John started with me at 97kg and today he weighs 94.75kg. If we looked at weight alone, you could be forgiven for thinking not much as happened over the last 12 months.

But that’s exactly why the scales only ever tell part of the story.

Over the past year, John has become significantly stronger, built a considerable amount of muscle, improved his fitness and completely changed the way he looks and feels. The goal was never simply to make him lighter; it was to improve his body composition, build strength and create habits that he could actually sustain long term.

The result is someone who looks completely different despite only being a couple of kilo’s lighter than when he started.

I think transformations like this are important because they challenge the idea that success is measured purely by body weight. So many people become discouraged when the scales aren’t dropping as quickly as they’d hoped, when in reality they are making incredible progress in other areas.

The truth is that building muscle while losing body fat doesn’t always produce dramatic changes on the scales, but it can produce dramatic changes in the mirror.

John has shown up week after week, put in the work, trusted the process and stayed consistent, even when the results weren’t always reflected by a number.

I’m incredibly proud of what he’s achieved over the last year, and I know we’re not finished yet.

Well done, John Logan 👏

Due to increased demand recently, I’ll be opening a limited number of weekend coaching slots.

This is ideal for people who prefer weekend availability for their PT sessions, but still want structured coaching, accountability, and a clear plan to follow.

I’m looking for people who are serious about making a change and are ready to commit to the process needed to get there.

Weekend spaces will be limited, and once they’re gone I won’t be adding more for the time being.

If you’re interested, you can register your details by clicking the link in my bio or commenting/DM me “WEEKEND” and I’ll send over the details.

I love preacher curls, but if I have the choice, I’m picking the cable variant every time.

Here’s why 👇

With dumbbells and barbells, the resistance is dictated by gravity. That means there are parts of the movement where the bicep isn’t really being challenged that hard, especially as you approach the top of the curl.

A cable changes that.

Because path of resistance comes from the cable rather than straight down from gravity, the bicep can stay under meaningful tension throughout the rep.

More tension across a greater range of motion = a bigger stimulus for muscle growth.

I also find it easier to keep constant tension on the muscle, making it much harder to “switch off” between reps.

Does that mean dumbbell and barbell preacher curls are bad? No not at all. I’ve always enjoyed and got good results with a single arm dumbbell version.

But if your goal is maximising bicep growth and you have access to a bench and cable stack, this variation is definitely worth trying.

Give it a go and let me know what you think 💪

Special mention today for this man. 👏

Stephen has an extremely demanding job in the army, often high stress and being sent away for a few days/weeks at a time on short notice. That presents issues when it comes to navigating training and food. When he’s at home he has a busy family life to contend with too.

However, what’s been a non negotiable for Stephen is consistency over time, and that is always going to yield the best results!

What’s stood out to me the most is when we started, his right shoulder sat noticeably lower due to previous injuries and compensation pattern. Since then, not only has he dropped around 4kg and become leaner and more defined, but his posture, balance, and overall movement quality have improved massively too.

No extremes. No perfect routine. Just consistent training around a busy life!

Really proud of what you’ve achieved 👏

Before every set, there’s a moment where you decide how much effort you’re actually about to give.

Most people go through the motions.
The best lifters lock in.

Focus.
Intent.
Aggression.
Ex*****on.

That mental switch before the set is what turns average training into progress.
