This is why UFO Leisure ltd came back the other week.

After almost 8 years at the reins of The Stumble my time to move on has arrived. From 1st November Stuart Kite will be taking over at the helm and I wish him and Elaine all the best with their new venture.

Regards the change, Stuart intends to keep the theme of the pub the same with great beers, ciders, lagers and selected other drinks and will keep the opening hours the same. Pat has been asked to stay on and I (David) have agreed to help out if they are desperate.

We hope you will continue to support Stuart just as you have supported me and Pat and look forward to a successful new era in The Stumble.

Can you help with our appeal? ⬇️

We're appealing for witnesses and information about a serious assault which occurred in the Northallerton area.

The incident took place between 4.00am and 4.47am on Sunday 2 July where a man was walking home towards Brompton from the the centre of Northallerton when he was subjected to a serious assault by four men.

We believed that the assault took place somewhere between Northallerton Leisure Centre and The Crown Inn on the junction of Northallerton Road and Lead Lane.

The man was left with serious, life-threatening injuries.

The victim is white, in his early forties, 5ft 6” tall with a proportionate build and grey hair.

In particular, we're appealing for any sightings of the man or anyone else who was in the area at the time. We also ask that if anybody has any dashcam footage or CCTV footage from the area at, or around the time of the incident to come forward.
