After last week’s 99 run win against Silsden, we travel to Skipton CI tomorrow to face their 1st XI

🦡 20 points for the Badgers 🦡

A brilliant win against Silsden 2nd XI today by 99 runs. Batting first we made 194-8, thanks in particular to great knocks from Harry McGowan who scored 69 off 53, Toby Meynell (50) and Charlie Andrews (36).

In reply Silsden started quickly but were reduced from 46-0 to 95 all out, thanks to a brilliant spell from Hamza Ayub who took 7-14

Harry McGowan completed his boot in 36 mins and 15 seconds

Last week we suffered a narrow defeat to Bowling Baptist. After winning the toss and choosing to bowl first, Toby Meynell (2-33) & Zan Farooq (2-34) both bowled valuable spells, however Baptists scored an above par 208-6 on a challenging wicket. In response another big contribution from Toby (45) and quick fire knocks from skipper Luke Watson (40) & Zain Farooq (37) weren’t quite enough as were bowled out in the penultimate over, 14 runs short of the target

This week we’re back at home against Silsden 2nd XI and hoping the weather stays away

We go again tomorrow with a tough home fixture against Long Lee 1st XI. It’s set to be another lovely day and we appreciate all support as always

🦡 Did someone say 4 wins in a row? 🦡

53 for Chris Kimberley, 41* for Ian Davies. 4-32 from Harry Andrews & 4-43 from Charlie Andrews saw us beat local rivals Cononley by 31 runs

After last week’s 5 wicket win against Wilsden, we’ve got another away fixture against local side Cononley tomorrow. As always, all support is appreciated

🦡 Fantastic win for the badgers 🦡

Bowling first against top of the league Wilsden, good spells from Hamza Ayub (2-37), Zain Farooq (2-47) and Charlie Andrews (2-52) saw Wilsden reach 214-9 on a good wicket

In response Rick Clarkson (58) and Chris Kimberley (46) put on 109 for the first wicket. After a few quick wickets Luke Watson (55*) and Harry Andrews (37) added another 71 for the 5th wicket to make it 3 wins on the bounce
