Now thats a wrap!! Well done to all that was involved- staff, helpers, instructors, riders and of course our amazing ponies and horses- couldn't have done it without any of you. Hope you all got a plenty of horse fix and is now ready to go back to school/work😄🐎🫶😄🐎🫶😄

Here at SJ Equestrian we focus very much on riders' hands- quiet educated hands are a great help for our horses especially when bringing on green youngsters. Coco in this video is 6 years old, came to us a few weeks ago and Lottie is doing a very good job guiding her to the fences in a kind sympathetic way. Well done both of you 👍👍

Got a bit delayed but the rider of the month!

Matilda is one of our young adult riders who comes to us weekly. She has been riding with us for just under 2 years - enjoying her flatwork lessons where she is able to improve her understanding of the principles of dressage, and she also loves spending time on the yard, building a rapport with her horse as well as her instructor. Well done Matilda!

Mini camp summer 2026- all the riders worked very hard towards a dressage test ridden to their choice of music by the end of the 3 day camp. Starting from learning the test on foot to practicing their plaits and cleaning the tack. It was so lovely to see that they have all become a small family by the end of the week, the bigger ones looking out for the littler ones. They have spent lots of time with their ponies (never enough!) made new friends and memories 😄😄😄
