CLUB MATCH UPDATE ON THE UPDATE

SUNDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER 2026

The match at Stambridge Fisheries is now officially cancelled due to lack of water at the fishery and we will now have the match at The Golf Course Lake, North Weald.
Draw 8am, fish 9 till 3.30pm .
The match will be pegged down , and we will have a half time weigh-in at 12 o'clock.
This will now be our monthly home match that usually takes place on the 4th Sunday of each month.

Please let me know if you will be attending.

NB . FOR ALL THOSE NOT FISHING THIS MATCH, PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE LAKE WILL CLOSED FOR PLEASURE FISHING UNTILL THE MATCH IS OVER, AND IF YOUR FISHING OVER SATURDAY NIGHT PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE OFF THE LAKE BY 7.30AM.

CLUB MATCH UPDATE IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

STAMBRIDGE FISHERY MATCH ON SUNDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER.

We have been contacted by the owner who has told that the lake is now at a critical depth and he has had to take the sad decision to suspend all matches due to the use of keepnets on matches.
We all know that this venue is naturally shallow so can share his concerns.
Graham has been ringing around venues to see if they can accommodate us but he has had no luck as yet.
So it is with a heavy heart that at the moment the match on the 13th is to be cancelled.
I will put another post on next Wednesday ( 9th) to definitely confirm this, just incase something changes.
If you have your name down for this match please can you comment on this post so I know you are aware , just simple thumbs up will do.
