So, this is a form using the straight sword, or jian and it was interesting for me to watch this back. I think it’s an ok attempt that gives a good enough outline of the form to follow but there is definitely room for improvement! I’ll get practicing and will post an updated and hopefully better attempt next time. With a bit of luck it won’t have the slightly weird lighting issues that this video has got either!

It seems that time still flys by, even when you are moving slowly 😁. Well, that’s it, Christmas is almost upon us so there will be no more classes now until 2018 when we start again on the 10th of January. Looking back on 2017, I can honestly say that it’s been a thoroughly enjoyable year. We had a few people leave our class, which was a shame, but we also had a few new people join us, which was great!
