UPDATE: This happened last Sunday for those who didn’t know. Sadly no joy finding the culprit but a big thank you to those with kind words, support and help.
Does anyone know someone who has a blue and silver motorbike who may live in or near Worstead?
It’s a road bike, not a scrambler, sports or Harley Davidson.
I don’t normally post on here but I am so angry, amazed and thoroughly gobsmacked at the idiotic behaviour of this man!!!!
At around 2.15pm thos afternoon, an absolute moron rode at speed on a very loud tinny sounding motorbike up behind myself on my horse and 2 children on their ponies from the village down Honing Road.
We were on the grass track beside the road.
One pony bolted with their rider, the other pony got upset and mine spun to see what was behind her.
He barely slowed down despite witnessing what was happening, everyone shouting stop, and followed up behind the bolting pony making things worse. They reached the end of the field at the same time and he DROVE OFF not aware or bothered that he was lucky they hadn’t bolted on to the road in front of him!!
WHAT AN IGNORANT FOOL. HOW CAN HE NOT HAVE WORKED OUT WHAT WAS HAPPENING??
You don’t not have to be a horse rider to understand and see scared ponies and children.
I will add these are trained ponies and all 3 riders are very experienced horse and pony riders who know the Highway Code and how to behave when riding out. Else this could have even a very sad and different outcome.
I will also say, generally most motorbike riders behave very courteously to horse riders. This is NOT a dig at them. Just the moronic one who let the rest of the bikers down. He did not have L plates on.
If you know him, tell me. I will teach him the way to pass horses properly before someone or a horse gets injured or worse.
To those who know us Blue, Maybel, Duquesa are a bit shaken up but all well and safe back home. X
