AUGUST SWIM SCHEDULE
Reminder:

Week commencing 17th August - training at the Hewitt High school pool

Week commencing 24th August- training at the Hewitt High school pool

Week commencing 31st August - training at Victory swim and fitness (no training 31st as bank holiday Monday).

We would like to remind you all that the club have halved the fees for members during August 2026 only, to compensate families for the extra distance some may need to travel to undertake this vital training.

The head coach is expecting as many people as possible to attend these sessions ahead of a very busy and important period of competitions.

Blue and White Squads:
Training will run both weeks Monday to Friday, 16:00–17:30. These sessions will consist of water work only.

Green Squad:
Training will run both weeks Monday to Friday 17:30–20:00, and will include a combination of land‑based work and pool work. All swimmers must arrive with shorts, a T‑shirt, and trainers suitable for land training. Please note that swimmers attending in crocs or flip‑flops will not be able to participate in the land‑based component of the session.

Masters:
Masters swimmers are welcome to attend any day from 18:30–20:00.

Our Swimmer of the Month for June is Finley 💚

Congratulations to Finley, who has been nominated by all of our coaches, after delivering gold medal winning performances at a recent gala, alongside an outstanding attitude towards both training and swimming. His hard work, commitment, and positive approach have really stood out, making him a very well deserved Swimmer of the Month.

Our Swimmer of the Month for May is Lewis Goulty 💚

Lewis has been outstanding this month. After recovering from a serious injury last year, he delivered an excellent performance at the Adam Peaty Gala in London, achieving a personal best in the 50m freestyle. His commitment, dedication, and attitude towards training have been exemplary throughout.

Lewis Goulty 💚

After being invited to compete at the AP Race London International at the iconic London Aquatics Centre in Stratford, Lewis was up against some of the best swimmers from across the UK and beyond yesterday - and delivered an incredible performance in the 50m Freestyle with a new PB of 26.68!

To be invited to race at an event created by Olympic Champion Adam Peaty and featuring hundreds of elite athletes is a huge achievement in itself.

We couldn’t be prouder of you Lewis! Your hard work, commitment, and progress in the pool, never goes unnoticed. This is only the beginning, and we’re excited to see where your journey takes you next!
