Wood you service my bike, please..?

Nice to see another take on a wooden bike (frame) in the shop. It’s been a while since the last one, which had more of an IKEA feel. This one, by Materia is definitely more premium. Complete with Brooks leather, sprung saddle and Alfine 8 speed hub. Very nice to ride, indeed!

It must be Vintage January!
Several old school ‘omafietsen’ (Dutch for grandmother bikes) in. Classic comfort still going strong. Put nice new Schwalbe cream walled tyres on one for that retro feel. Also giving the mother-in-law’s old Gazelle some TLC. Bought nearly half a century ago in The Hague, now finally being replaced by her electric counterpart. The way to keep cycling at 85!
