Winning is nice and we're always happy coming away with a positive result but yesterday was what unlicensed small hall boxing is all about.
Cracking match ups, respectful and controlled exhibitions, small clubs coming together and decent craic!
Thank You Dale Blacklock for having us on, once again a belter show.
Young Josh Ward coming away with another win making him 3-0 and Oliver Germaney having one last move about before he finally gets his shoulder surgery!
New gym news coming this week too!!
Things are always moving behind the scenes and we may only be small but we're present and always ready to go!

🥊2026 Timetable🥊

Until we finalise our new building we're running a reduced timetable to fit around other schedules and factors.

We've had a bit of a shuffle round and changed our boxing sessions a little bit.
This frees up time for private 1-2-1s and small group sessions with our Head Coach for boxing or circuits if our set evening sessions are difficult to get to.

🥊So you want to be a Boxer?🥊

We're back in the gym Friday 2nd January and ready to make 2026 a banger!

Bedford Street Boxing Club is based in the heart of North Shields town centre.

We have had a little move around and can now accommodate a few more members to join the club.
No experience needed and you don't even have to have your own gloves.
Down to our amazing local sponsors we were able to provide gloves for classes at no additional cost to members.

Located on its namesake, it has brilliant travel options and plenty of parking close by.

Rough day at the office on Sunday on UFN6...

Lucky two out of three came away with no injuries so they rest, recover and go again with some cracking fights already in the pipeline for next year.
Coach however wasn't as fortunate and after two different hospitals and multiple scans and xrays turns out hes got a lovely rotator cuff tear!

But we go again next month and have young Josh Ward out on Takedown 2 back at the Jube.
