What a wonderful day our 95th anniversary celebration proved to be. You can’t put a price on the value of reconnecting with friends, enjoying classes and performances, or simply just appreciating the League, its rich history and the difference it has made to so many.

To our wonderful teachers and participants, thank you, thank you, thank you! And an even bigger thank you to the Events Team and their trusty team of volunteers for making this special day a reality!

✨ What a weekend! ✨

Yesterday we celebrated something truly special; the 95th Anniversary of FLexercise in London! 🎉💃

For those who don’t know, FLexercise began back in 1930 as the Women’s League of Health and Beauty — a movement that’s been inspiring women to move, laugh, and connect for generations. What a rich history of women’s fitness, friendship, and empowerment. ❤️

It’s also deeply personal for me; I was just 6 weeks old when I attended my very first WLHB rally (thanks to Mum! 😉). My wonderful Mum, Lucy Martin, was an inspirational teacher with the organisation, and I quite literally grew up watching her teach, plan classes at the kitchen table, and train new teachers. She passed on her love for movement and community to me, and I’m forever grateful.

Being in London this weekend with my sister Rebecca, my daughter Abi, and several of my lovely Somerset class members felt incredibly special. Generations, all celebrating the same movement that’s meant so much to our family and so many others.

I know Mum was there with us in spirit — smiling, dancing, and probably correcting our arm positions from above! 💕

Here’s to 95 years of FLexercise — and to the incredible women who’ve kept its heart beating all this time. 💪✨

The day we have been waiting for has finally arrived, today we celebrate our 95th birthday!
Let’s hear it for ‘A League for a Lifetime’ - a day made for socialising, reminiscing and having fun.
