Dance exams are about so much more than achieving a certificate 🩰✨

Working towards each grade gives dancers clear goals, encourages consistent progress and helps them develop strong technique, discipline, confidence and performance skills.

At DanceForce, our exam classes begin from age four and follow the recognised IDTA syllabus, giving every dancer a structured pathway to progress through.

As dancers reach the higher Level 3 grades, eligible qualifications can also carry valuable UCAS points meaning their dedication in the studio may support future university applications too.

Ballet is the foundation of strong dance training 🩰

It develops the posture, alignment, strength, control and musicality that support every other genre helping dancers become stronger, more versatile performers in everything from jazz and contemporary to commercial and street.

At DanceForce, our ballet pathway begins from age two and continues through graded, pointe and advanced training. Dancers can work towards recognised IDTA examinations or choose our non-syllabus classes, where the focus is on technique, artistry and performance without the pressure of an exam.

We also have limited availability for private 1:1 lessons with Miss Sophie on Tuesdays and Thursdays, perfect for dancers who would benefit from individual support and focused progression.

Why add Street Dance to your child’s weekly training? 🔥

Street Dance works brilliantly alongside ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary, helping dancers develop musicality, coordination, confidence and a completely different quality of movement. Training across multiple genres creates stronger, more adaptable and versatile performers.

Our timetable is carefully built so dancers can take Street alongside their other DanceForce classes, making it easier for them to access well-rounded training throughout the week.
