North Cave has multiple bowlers heading to Lincoln next week to represent Humberside County at the EBF National Finals!

Please see the below schedule, if anyone wishes to make the trip, I am sure the players would appreciate the support!

Last week saw our club competitions come to a close with some excellent bowling on show and some hard fought battles going right down to the last wood!

Congratulations to all those who came out on top and a brilliant effort from all the runners up.

A big thank you also goes to all who came to support during the finals!

We are pleased to announce that our 2026/27 Winter National Competitions entries are now open! 🎉

Entries close on Monday 8th June 2026.

The 2026/27 winter season sees a positive change to our national competition rules regarding the introduction of re-spots across all Winter National Competitions, following last year’s trial in the Summer National Competitions. It is also to help ensure that all ends are completed in both Individual and Team events.

This is subject to a year’s trial and if deemed a success, re-spots will become standard across all EIBA Summer and Winter National Competitions from the 2027/28 season.

🏆 Club Finals 🏆

Our club competitions are coming to an end and the champions will finally be decided between Tuesday 7th and Sunday 12th April!

Good luck to all finalists and supporters are always welcome!

Sunday saw the Yorkshire Ladies Champion of Champions finals being held at Selby Indoor Bowling Club.

We had finalists in 2 disciplines, both playing against opponents from Selby IBC:
- Laura Stride in the Singles
- Eva Dayes and Jayne Stride in the Pairs.

Both matches were well fought but North Cave came out victorious and we have retained the Yorkshire County Ladies Singles and Pairs titles, duplicating the same achievement from the previous year!🏆

Congratulations to Selby and Harrogate for their victories in the O60 Singles, Triples and Fours.
