🦩 Flamingos U8 Girls – First League Tournament Match Report 🦩
The Flamingos U8 Girls enjoyed a fantastic first league tournament, showing great teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the day.
Competing in their first league tournament, the girls put in an outstanding performance. From seven matches played, they recorded an impressive three wins, two draws, and two losses. Every player contributed to the team’s success, working hard for one another and giving maximum effort from start to finish. The Flamingos played with confidence and enthusiasm, creating chances and competing strongly in every match.
A special mention goes to our captain, Evenlina, who led the team brilliantly throughout the tournament. Her encouragement, leadership, and support for her teammates helped keep spirits high and brought the best out of everyone on the pitch. Evenlina also made a huge impact in front of goal, scoring an outstanding six goals.
Lara also made an important contribution, finding the net twice and working tirelessly for the team. Those goals were made possible by the excellent teamwork across the squad, with players creating opportunities, providing assists, and supporting each other in every game.
Another special mention goes to Lottie, whose outstanding goalkeeping was a key factor in the team’s success. Lottie kept an impressive five clean sheets during the tournament, making crucial saves and providing a strong presence between the posts.
While the results were impressive, the biggest success was the way the girls played together as a team. The support, assists, hard work, and positive attitude shown by every player made the tournament a memorable and enjoyable experience for all involved.
