Congratulations to our winners from a fabulous finals day on Sunday!

It has been a pleasure to witness the fantastic golf on display throughout this week’s Club Championships. Thank you to everyone who took part in the qualifying and match play rounds.

Today’s Finals Day provided a fitting conclusion to what has been a superb week. It was wonderful to see so many members out on the course in the sunshine, supporting the finalists and enjoying the occasion together.

In the end, there can only be one winner in each Championship, and on behalf of the entire team, I would like to offer my warmest congratulations to our new Club Champions.

A sincere thank you to all those who contributed to making the week such a success. To our referees and our Captains, Jane and Chris, for their support throughout; to Martyn, Iain and Fraser in the Golf Operations Team for their excellent administration; and to Kyle and his team for their hard work in preparing the course so well this week.

Finally, thank you to Andrew and the Hospitality Team for delivering a fantastic BBQ and looking after members and guests so well on a busy Finals Day. It was great to see the terrace full and the Club buzzing throughout the afternoon.

Once again, congratulations to our winners on becoming Club Champions, and thank you to all who played, supported, and helped make this such a memorable Championship Week 🏆👏🏼

We have our Club Championship Finalists! 🏆

Congratulations to our semi-final winners … some fantastic matches on the West Links this morning and we have more great games to look forward to tomorrow!

Our Finals Day tees off at 0845 with the first round of the Gents Championship final between Fraser Henderson and Mike Gray, before the Ladies Championship Final between Anne Smith and Dawn Young goes out at 1250, leading out the afternoon matches.

We look forward to seeing many of you supporting the players on Sunday, and enjoying our Finals Day BBQ!

Good luck to Captain Catriona Matthew and the GB&I team who get the defence of the Curtis Cup underway at the Bel-Air Country Club in Los Angeles today!

Catriona led her team to an incredible 10.5 to 9.5 victory at Sunningdale two years ago, and she’ll be aiming to maintain her formidable captaincy record this weekend, following home and away successes as European Solheim Cup captain.

Club Championship Week …

It was the turn of the Gents Club Championship last-16 ties last night, with the players battling some tough conditions in the summer showers!

Some great matches out on the course, with wins for Fraser Henderson, Andrew Hall, Horatio Lawson, Chris Wood, Mike Gray and Jake Thomas who won his match at the 22nd, with Kevin McCarthy also through.

This evening sees the quarter-finals on both the Gents Championship and Gents Plate Championship, with the eyes on a place in tomorrow’s semi-finals.

Our Gents Club Championship gets underway later today with the last-16 ties teeing off from 4pm.

Rich F Johnston takes on Kevin McCarthy in the opening match, while 2025 champion Chris Wood begins the defence of his title against Justen Ross, teeing off at 4.45pm.

Meanwhile in the Gents Seniors Championship, our congratulations go to Andrew Hall and J Richard Johnston who are through to Sunday's final, having both won their semi-finals last night.

Looking ahead to Sunday, we are delighted to introduce our Club Championship BBQ, running from 12 noon until 8 pm. Open to all members, family and friends, it’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy the finals, spend time at your Club, and celebrate with our winners.
