Our squad played a fun Texas Scramble yesterday - great to see our experienced juniors working so well with some of our newest squad members 😀

In spite of tough conditions, all the teams were very competitive. Well done to team Jack, Jamison and Callum for winning scratch with 67 and to team Phebe, Lydia and Inés for winning the nett with 61 (BIH).

Wishing the very best to West Links Juniors Ryan Killorn and Ellis Tate, and junior members Aidan Lawson and Nathan Tait, who will be competing in the Scottish Boys' Open Championship, which starts tomorrow at Cruden Bay.

This year the Quads are being held at Cardigan Golf Club - and today team Scotland faces the hosts Wales in both foursomes and singles. Ryan has had a fantastic start, winning his foursomes match 3&1 with partner Cole Stewart (Carnoustie Caledonia GC) and is currently playing his singles match.

Congratulations to the first ever West Links Juniors Strokeplay Scratch and Handicap Champions - Ellis Tate and Harvey Blair! ✨

Very well done also to Ryan Pickett Jnr and Archie Brownlee, who came 2nd and 3rd in Scratch and to Hudson Blair and Chloe Adams, 2nd and 3rd in Handicap.

Our inaugural Strokeplay Championship was contested in extremely tough, windy conditions and we are very proud of all the players who battled it out in such good spirits over the last two days.

A very good start to the season for team Fidra at the first 2025 East Lothian Junior Golf League matchday at Gullane last weekend. Fidra finished second overall, only missing the top spot by a point. A tougher day for team Bass but we have no doubt they will come back strong💪. Shout out for excellent scoring to Chloe, with a net 40, Jack 39, Kyle and Jamison, both 38 and to Nathan who came second overall scratch. Good luck to everyone playing in our home matchday tomorrow ⛳️

It was the last of the West Links Juniors Winter Series events this weekend and we ended on a high with the sun shining and fantastic scoring across all the categories.

Congratulations to our winners on the day:

🌟 Aaron, who completed the course in 34, earning his gold star badge and winning the Flag event.

🔥 Alfie, who ended his Winter Series campaign with a clean sweep, winning the Scratch, Handicap and nearest the pin prizes.

We were delighted that many of our players and their families were able to join us afterwards for the end of Series prizegiving. Thank you to Tantallon Golf Club for the warm welcome and hospitality and thank you also to the Pickett family for generously gifting the most amazing donuts, which were very popular 😋🍩

💥 Another fantastic Winter Series session today, and in spite of challenging conditions we were delighted to see some excellent golf and lots of improvement across all our players.💥

Congratulations to Hudson, who dominated today's competition with a win in both the Scratch and Handicap section as well the Nearest the Pin prize. 👏

Having come agonisingly close in her other two outings, Louisa completed the flag course in 35 shots, earning her gold star badge and emerging the well deserved winner of this week's Flag section. 🌟

Hot on her heels, Isla also completed the course in 36 shots, earning her gold star badge on her first competition day, what a debut!! 🌟

Finally, a big shout out to Ela, who was millimetres away from also finishing in 36 shots, but responded with a fantastic, positive attitude and was delighted with moving from the blue badge to purple. 🔵 👉 🟣
