At GoSUP we offer a truly unique experience, our Stand Up Paddleboards and sit on top Ocean Kayaks are your key to unlocking the stunning coastline of North Berwick and East Lothian. Whether you want to have a fun day in the bay, explore the coast or just try a new sport with a view to purchasing your own board we are here to enable you on that journey. The East Bay has an enclosed paddling pool,

excellent for children or those that want to build their confidence gradually and The West Bay, offering a bit more shelter and a fantastic view of the town. Beyond the beach and into the Firth of Forth is the home of four incredibly enchanting islands. The iconic Bass Rock, described as Scotland's Alcatraz. It has prison ruins and an operational lighthouse. It sits roughly three nautical miles from North Berwick, when the conditions are right this adventure would be an unforgettable experience. Craigleith Island sits about one nautical mile North of North Berwick. It is home to many seals and puffins as well as other wildlife. It is a popular choice for visitors who are building their confidence Stand Up Paddle boarding. The Lamb sits about two nautical miles West of North Berwick and is owned by Uri Geller the celebrity spoon bender and magician. It is a mystical little island with a small harbour and lots of birds and wildlife, a personal favourite of the GoSUP staff. Fidra Island is the furthest west after the Lamb about three nautical miles west from North Berwick. It is believed to be the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island book. To the east of the island is a small harbour and a small pebble beach, Fidra is home to many seabirds and seals. Fidra also has an impressive operational light house. This is probably the easiest island to stop off on for a picnic. It is a truly humbling experience to be near any of the islands, especially on a Stand Up Paddle board. You see so much more as you approach so quietly. If Island touring is not your cup of tea there are beautiful beaches both east and west of North Berwick to explore, or it's just as much fun to play in the bay.
