What an incredible week hosting the European Championship 2026 alongside US Kids Golf Tournaments and our fantastic competition partner clubs — Musselburgh, Royal Musselburgh, Longniddry and Craigielaw. ⛳🏆

We were proud to welcome talented young golfers and their families from across the globe, including Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lebanon, Philippines, Portugal, Russian Federation, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and multiple states in the USA — a true celebration of international junior golf here in Scotland.

It was inspiring to watch the stars of tomorrow showcase such outstanding skill, sportsmanship and passion for the game, all while experiencing a classic “Scottish summer’s day” along the way!
Events like this would not be possible without the incredible support of our volunteers, partner clubs, local community and supporters. Your time, energy and commitment helped create an unforgettable championship experience for every player and family involved.

Hosting international events of this calibre continues to shine a spotlight on our region, bringing visitors from around the world and creating valuable opportunities for tourism, hospitality and local business partnerships.

We were thrilled to spot a very familiar view on Sky Sports' Golf’s Greatest Holes this week!

Last year, presenter Chris Hollins visited Glen Golf Club - and our iconic 13th hole - to see if it was up to par for the show so we were chuffed to bits to see it officially made the cut when the programme aired on Tuesday night🙌

Sharing the spotlight with legendary courses like The Old Course at St Andrews, Trump Turnberry, Royal Troon Golf Club, Prestwick Golf Club, and our neighbour Muirfield makes this even more special 💚

With a global reach of 1.9 billion households across 50+ broadcasters (and even airlines ✈️), that’s a lot of new eyes on our East Links gem!
