Race report NLR round 7 @ knockhill
Another really enjoyable weekend this time spent with RNRRT. Took the decision not to do the Friday test day as I thought it would be carnage with all our visitors but the weather was stunning and gave all our English friends the chance to get acquainted with the track.
Straight into qualifying Saturday morning with a 1.02 putting me 25th in a big field.
Times continued to come down over the weekend and finished off with a new PB of 59.5!
Race 1 - P23 (10th in class)
Race 2 - P20 (7th in class)
MIL - P18 (59.5 PB)
Race 3 - P 21 (9th in class)
Really happy with progress over the last couple of weeks, and enjoyed a class wee tussle with Adam Myhill in the Military race! As always thanks to Gav and the pit crew, Jas and Lorraine for the rest and Matt Sayle photography as well as Alaya Jane Christie!!

Race report EF round 12:
Back on home turf after a couple of rounds down south and what a weekend!!
Big field of 24 qualified 19th.
Race 1- got a good start and managed to make up a few places, and back down at 1.09, but Liam Hanson #62 and James Kennedy #88 did me at the hairpin last lap🤣lesson learned finished 17th.
Race 2 - probably the most fun I’ve had since I started racing. Got away well again and spent all 10 laps battling with Liam Hanson #62, quite surreal felt like it was just the two of us on track, passing each other, and in the times I was chasing him I definitely learnt a bit from his lines and speed through esses and pates! Managed to get in front last lap and came home in 15th.
Race 3 - not my best, after the Saturday confidence was high and really wanted to improve on 1.09 PB, tried to be aggressive and ended up making 3 stupid mistakes, crap start, outbraked myself going into railway going straight on and the same at esses going for an overtake. Finished 16th.
Race 4 - after a chat with Arron MBR #33 concentrated on consistency and just got in a groove, finished 13th and managed to improve PB to 1.08.5!!
Picked up some class spares for the bike, really enjoyed having my mate back in class and buzzing for NLR @ knockhill next week.

Race report Cadwell:
Decided not to do the testing day on Friday and in hindsight probably not my smartest move. Struggled through Saturday to get grips with the track and never felt comfortable. Sunday started off a bit wet, gambled with a wet front and slick on the rear for military qualification which didn’t work out. Races on Sunday much better though and times improved by over 10s to end up with a PB of 1.55.
Race 1.Q 35 finish 29
Race 2.Q 33 finish 30
Mil. Q 28 finish 23
Race 3. Q 34 finish 26
All in all not too bad, another class weekend with the RNRRT, had Gav back in pits with Xander and Jas was back so the social media was on point. Massive shout out to all the medics and Marshall’s for looking after Nat Cro during the mil race and as usual cheers Matt Sayle photography
